FINAL CRY have been an integral part of the German metal and underground scene for over 30 years.
Stylistically the band, rooted in thrash, has always stood for powerful, fast metal with stirring, razor-sharp riffs and raging drums, which combines musical styles from the speed & thrash metal of the 80s to the dark Scandinavian death & black metal styles of the 90s with a lot of melody and atmosphere. Over time, the increasingly aggressive, intense vocals became one of the style defining elements.
At the beginning of 2021, the band join forces with Across The Burning Sky (and ex-Subconscious) frontman Kai to permanently fill the notoriously vacant position of vocalist. In the meantime, Final Cry signed to MDD Records to release with “The EverRest” the follow-up to 2018's long player "Zombique".
The new album, which will be recorded and produced at Soundlodge Studio under the wing of Jörg Uken, should delight both old and new fans of the band from Lower Saxony and will be the focus of their energetic shows.
