Biography
Preacher and minister Eddie James proclaims on his website his albums "were birthed from intimate encounters with God" and he has built up the Eddie James Ministries brand which enthusiastically promotes the artist's record sales on the web and through nationwide personal appearances. It's a formula which has helped James tap into the lucrative US Christian and gospel music market. Born in Phoenix, Arizona James found God and religion at the age of eight, joining his local music ministry a year later. His first album titled Higher was recorded with The Phoenix Mass Choir and entered the gospel charts at number ten, eventually reaching number three on the national charts. His group ColourBlind regularly tour and perform with a production called Break The Walls, a youth outreach project aimed at helping young people deal with substance abuse, violence and racism.
