AllSTARS were a British pop group formed in England in 2001, consisting of Sam Bloom, Thaila Zucchi, Ashley Taylor Dawson, Rebecca Hunter, and Sandi Lee Hughes. The band's name was derived from the initial letters of its members' names. AllSTARS achieved chart success with four Top 20 singles within a year. Their debut single "Best Friends" peaked at number 20 in June 2001. This was followed by a double A-side release featuring their own track "Things That Go Bump in the Night" and a cover of Duran Duran's "Is There Something I Should Know?", which reached number 12 in September 2001. Their third single, a cover of Bucks Fizz's "The Land of Make Believe", gave them their first and only Top 10 hit, reaching number 9 in January 2002. The band released their self-titled debut album Allstars in July 2002, which peaked at number 43 on the UK Albums Chart. Despite their initial success, AllSTARS parted ways with their record company Island and disbanded in June 2002.
