Samantha Jade

Samantha Jade, born Samantha Jade Grigg on 12 May 1987 in Perth, Australia, is a singer-songwriter who initially moved to Los Angeles to pursue her singing career. After struggling to secure a record deal in the United States, she returned to Perth and later relocated to Sydney, working as a makeup artist while continuing to perform. Her breakthrough moment came when she was a contestant on The X Factor Australia season four. Despite not winning, she signed with Sony Music Australia. Her debut album Samantha Jade, released in 2012, included the hit single "What You've Done to Me". In 2015, she released her second studio album Nine. She has collaborated on tours with artists such as Beyoncé, Guy Sebastian, and the Backstreet Boys. Notably, Jade was featured in INXS: Never Tear Us Apart alongside other contestants from The X Factor Australia. Her discography includes albums like Best of My Love (2018) and The Magic of Christmas (2018) and singles such as 2024's Peachy.
