Baby D

Baby D, a British electronic music group from England, was formed in 1989. The band consisted of Dee Galdes-Fearon on vocals, Terry Jones as keyboardist and singer, and Claudio Galdez as keyboardist and brass player. Baby D emerged from Production House Records, founded by Phil Fearon, whose band Phil Fearon & Galaxy had several hits in the 1980s. The group's early singles between 1991 and 1994 were underground hits, with two reaching the lower positions of the UK Top 100. Their breakthrough came with "Let Me Be Your Fantasy", initially released in 1992 and later re-released by London Records in 1994, which reached Number 1 on the British charts and sold approximately a quarter million copies. The band's subsequent releases included Casanova (1994), So Pure (1995), and their debut album Delivrance (1996). In 1995, Baby D achieved another hit with "I Need Your Loving", a rave version of The Korgis' ballad "Everybody’s Got to Learn Sometime". Baby D continued to release albums such as A Town Secret Weapon (2008) and The Best of Baby D (2009).
