Sinan Akçıl (May 20, 1982) is a Turkish composer, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Born in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden, he is the son of musician Saim Akçıl and the brother of pianist İdil Akçıl. Before establishing himself as a pop singer, he made a name for himself as a producer, working with artists like Emel Müftüoglu, Yasar, Zeynep Cassalini, and Izel Çeliköz, with whom he also had a personal relationship. In 2009, he jumped to fame after producing Hadise's "Düm Tek Tek," which finished 4th in the Eurovision Song Contest. From there on, he went on to cultivate a successful solo career with albums like Kalp Sesi (2011), Tabi Tabi (2014), and Piyanist (2020). A sequel titled Piyanist 2 arrived in 2022 and spawned the Top 10 single "Durum Çok Acil," which featured guest vocals by singers Mustafa Ceceli and Merve Özbey
