Astræa (Ancient Greek: Ἀστραῖα; "star-maiden" or "starry night") Drawing on the cinematic, electronic sounds of dark alternative pop, singer-songwriter/producer Astræa is likened to classic artists such as Kate Bush and Tori Amos and modern artists like Halsey, Ruelle, and London Grammar. Astræa’s self-produced cover of the 1990’s dance classic “You’re Not Alone” is currently the soundtrack to the beautifully shot Lloyds Bank advertisement across the UK/Ireland. The single features her ethereal vocals amid a backdrop of lush, cinematic production. Astræa has an EP set for release to follow “You’re Not Alone”, featuring production by herself, Roy Kerr of My Riot (London Grammar, Birdy, Rhodes), and Aidan O’Brien (Ider, Fours).
