DeeBaby, real name Jesus Jeremiah Martinez, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas, born on July 22, 1996. Born into a Hispanic family in a tough neighborhood, he began to make a name for himself in the early 2020s with a series of tracks released online, marked by introspective writing, autobiographical narratives and a style blending melodic trap and emotional rap. He features an intense flow, a husky voice and lyrics centered on street struggles, personal loss and resilience. His project The Black Sheep (2022) attracts public and critical attention, cementing his place in the Texas rap scene.
