Wolfstone

Wolfstone is a Scottish musical group known for their Celtic rock sound that was founded in 1989. The band's origins trace back to a pub session where fiddler Duncan Chisholm met guitarist Stuart Eaglesham. Wolfstone performed their first show at the Highland Traditional Music Festival in Dingwall that same year. They released their debut albums Wolfstone (1989)  and Wolfstone II (1990) on Rowan Records, and in 1991 signed with Iona Records to release Unleashed, which achieved silver status in the UK. The following year saw the release of The Chase, reaching gold status. Notable albums include Year of the Dog (1994) and The Half Tail (1996). Wolfstone's lineup evolved over the years, with key members including Ivan Drever on vocals and guitars, Stevie Saint on pipes, and Andy Thorburn on keyboards. The band continued to tour extensively and released their final studio album Terra Firma in 2007.
