The Tumbling Paddies

Formed in Northern Ireland's County Fermanagh in 2017, The Tumbling Paddies quickly rose to prominence with their unique take on modern folk, combining elements of Celtic music with contemporary folk-rock. Their sound is a lively mix of foot-stomping rhythms, rousing ballads, and harmonies that echo the rich history of Irish music, all while embracing a fresh, modern twist. This six-piece band—comprising Gareth Maguire (lead vocals, tin whistle), Ciaran Owens (banjo), Lee Jones (guitar), Martin Treacy (accordion), Oisin McManus (keyboard/bass), and John McCann (drums)—released their debut compilation album, The Way We Are, in 2022 and followed it with live album The Journey So Far in 2023. 2024 saw the release of their debut album proper, Graffy Sessions.
