Gringe

Guillaume Tranchant, alias Gringe, who made his name alongside Orelsan in Casseurs Flowters, was born in Poitiers on February 20, 1980. In 1999, while working as a salesman in a sports store, he met Orelsan, with whom he formed the duo Casseurs Flowters the following year. in addition to the album Orelsan et Gringeont les Casseurs Flowters in 2013 and the film Comment c'est loin in 2015, Gringe takes part in several productions by Orelsan and other artists such as Shtar Academy, Major Lazer, Youssoupha, Demon One, Léa Castel and DJ Pone. He also appears in several film and TV roles, alongside his studio work, which culminates in 2018 in the gold-certified solo album Enfant Lune. Several tracks followed, including "Pièces détachées" and "Banco" (2019), then "On aboie du silence" (2020), before the release of his second solo effort, Hypersensible (2024), which reached number 8 in the French album charts.
