Behdad Nejatbakhshe, best known as Uppermost, is a French independent electronic music producer based in Paris. Both inspired by traditional Persian music and the French Touch since a very young age, he crafts each of his compositions with the will to bring positive emotion in the spotlight. It’s without a doubt through the combination of these two powerful cultural influences that Uppermost grew as an artist. Taking root both in the freedom struggles that have been going on in Iran against the fundamentalist regime, and in the quests for independence coming from French electronic music artists, Uppermost is committed to creating music fueled with hope, passion and dreams of artistic emancipation.
