Racing Mount Pleasant

Racing Mount Pleasant, formed in 2019 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, began as the university‑based band Kingfisher, featuring Callum Roberts, Connor Hoyt, Sam DuBose and others. The group released its debut single "Holy Hell" in October 2022, followed by the album Grip Your Fist, I'm Heaven Bound on 11 November 2022. In April 2025 the band changed its name to Racing Mount Pleasant, issued the single "Call It Easy" and announced an album. The album Racing Mount Pleasant launched on 15 August 2025 through R&R after three years of recording across multiple studios. The group toured with Cameron Winter and Geese, and its live performances were noted for immersive, venue‑specific presentations.
