The Molotovs

 The Molotovs are a high-energy mod-revival/indie ock band formed in London in 2020 by siblings Mathew Cartlidge (vocals/guitar) and Issey Cartlidge (bass/vocals), later joined by drummer Will Fooks. They began by busking and gigging relentlessly across the UK during the COVID-19 lockdowns, quickly amassing hundreds of live shows and building a grassroots following through raw, explosive performances. Their breakthrough came after signing with Marshall Records in January 2025, releasing their debut EP More More More in March that year — a punchy fusion of late-’70s punk urgency and mod-revival swagger, produced by Jason Perry. Following the release of singles "Today's Gonna Be Our Day", "Rhythm of Yourself", and later "Get a Life", they unveiled their debut album Wasted on Youth in January 2026, which topped the UK Albums Download chart.
