Nevermind

A French ensemble performing Baroque music on historical instruments, Nevermind brings together four musicians from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris: harpsichordist Jean Rondeau, flutist Anna Besson, violinist Louis Créac'h and gambist Robin Pharo. Formed in 2013, the following year it won the Van Wassenaer International Chamber Music Competition in Utrecht (Netherlands) and was awarded 3rd prize, as well as the jury's special prize, at the Utrecht Festival, which enabled it to embark on its first tour in 2016, in support of the first album Conversations, released by Alpha Classics and featuring four-part pieces by Jean-Baptiste Quentin and Louis-Gabriel Guillemain. In 2017, a collection devoted to Telemann's Quatuors Parisiens will follow, then in 2021 to Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. In 2025, the quartet unveils an unpublished version of J. S. Bach's Goldberg Variations, in their own transcription.
