Ajar, real name Gabriel, is a singer-songwriter from Marseilles, of Moroccan origin, who defines his musical universe as Mediterranean jazz, a vibrant blend of pop and Mediterranean influences. Active since 2018, he puts the South to music and embodies the essence of the French Riviera with authentic, modern compositions. His stage name Ajar is a tribute to writer Romain Gary, who used the pseudonym Émile Ajar. This reference underlines his taste for narrative and multiple identities, which he conveys through his lyrics and musical universe. For the past seven years, he has been sharing his music online and patiently building his career, opening for a variety of talented artists before moving on to his own concerts. In 2023, he unveiled his first EP Ô, in which he explored airy, organic sounds, asserting his singularity on the music scene. In 2024, his track "TÖUNDRA" meets with notable success, giving him greater visibility.
