Lisa Dawn Rose-Wyatt, known professionally as Lisa Lashes, was born on 23 April 1971, in Holbrooks, Coventry, England. She grew up in a Jehovah's Witness family and began her journey into dance music by attending local club events such as Miss Moneypenny’s and Chuff Chuff. She started her DJ career in 1992 and gained traction when she performed at a friend's boat party in 1995, leading to a residency at the Sunday club in Birmingham.
Lisa Lashes' early success included producing "Unbelievable", which spent four weeks on the UK official singles chart. In 2003, she launched her Lashed dance music events, starting with sold-out shows at Ibiza's Eden nightclub and later expanding globally with Nettwerk Management. Her transition to trance music began in 2010 with the release of "Election Day" on Marcel Woods' Musical Madness label, followed by releases on labels such as Discover Dark and Reset Records. Lisa Lashes has headlined major festivals like Global Gathering, Creamfields, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Dance Valley, as well as UK events including Godskitchen and Gatecrasher. On top of garnering a worldwide reputation as a well-respected DJ, she has also released productions such as the Lisa Lashes LP in 2007 along with a string of singles and EPs throughout the 2010s and 2020s, including 2025's "The Dreamer / Emergency".
