Heretoir

Heretoir is a German metal band, founded in Augsburg in 2006. The music combines black metal, post-rock, shoegaze and modern metal influences. The band was founded by David "Eklatanz" Conrad, who initially played alone. He was later joined by Matthias "Nathanael" Settele (bass, backing vocals; since around 2010), Maximilian "M." Forst (guitar; since 2011) and Nils Groth (drums; since 2017). Emanuel "Belial" D. was drummer from 2011 to 2017. Heretoir released the demo Existenz in 2008, the EP .Existenz. in 2009 and the split EP Wiedersehen - unsere Hoffnung with the band Thränenkind in 2010. The first full album Heretoir is released on February 25, 2011. The compilation Substanz follows in 2012. On March 24, 2017, the album The Circle is released. Nightsphere follows in 2023. The album Solastalgia follows in mid-September 2025 via AOP Records. Well-known singles and songs include "Just for a Moment" (2014), "Golden Dust (Acoustic Version; feat. Emily Highfield)" (2019), "Graue Bauten" (2022), "Fatigue" (2023), "Anima" (2023), "At Dusk" (2023), "The Same Hell" (2024) and "The Ashen Falls" (2025). The song "You Are The Night" will be presented as a single from the upcoming album Solastalgia.
