Ben Ellis

Ben Ellis is a Welsh singer-songwriter, musician, and performer born in Cardiff. Coming from the Welsh indie scene, he got his start with the band Sen Segur, where he contributed to a lo-fi, experimental sound dominated by guitar and drawing influence from alternative and psychedelic music. The band released several EPs in the early 2010s, including Pen Rhydd (2011), before producing tracks that led to the album Films (2020). Alongside Sen Segur, Ben Ellis participated in Welsh collaborative projects such as Ffenest, before launching his solo career in 2022 with the single “Not This Time, ” followed by two EPs, The Ed’s House (2023) and The Hollywood EP (2024). Following the 2025 singles “Where She Goes, ” “Where It Ends,” and “Still Be Friends, ” Ben Ellis added more tracks to his debut album, The Train Where the Time Slows, released in June 2026.
