Crossfaith, a Japanese metalcore band formed in 2006 in Osaka, is renowned for its fusion of metalcore, electronicore, and industrial metal. The lineup includes Kenta Koie (vocals), Kazuki Takemura (guitar), Hiroki Ikegawa (bass), Tatsuya Amano (drums), and Terufumi Tamano (keyboards, programming, backing vocals). Starting as a nu-metal cover band, they transitioned to electronicore and debuted with EP The Artificial Theory for the Dramatic Beauty in 2009, establishing their presence in the Japanese metal scene. In 2011, their first studio album The Dream, The Space reached number 56 on the Japanese Billboard charts, gaining international attention with the single "Monolith" from 2013 album Apocalyze, reaching number 19 on the Oricon charts and number 18 on the U.S. Hard Rock charts. Continuing to gain momentum, third and fourth albums Xeno (2015) and Ex Machina (2018) hit number 12 and 16, respectively with 2020 EP, SPECIES EP reaching number 13. After releasing a string of non-album singles including “RedZone” and “Gimme Danger” (featuring Ralph) throughout 2021 and 2022, Crossfaith returned in June 2024 with their fifth studio album AЯK, led by tracks “Zero,” “L.A.M.N” (featuring Bobby Wolfgang), and “God Speed” (featuring Wargasm), which climbed to number 26 on the Billboard Top 100 Albums chart in Japan.
