Juliano Son, born in São Paulo on February 11, 1974, to Korean immigrant parents, is a Brazilian Christian singer, songwriter, missionary, and worship pastor. After studying theology at the Baptist Theological College of São Paulo, he founded the worship ministry Livres Para Adorar in 2005, inspired by a missionary's testimony about child trafficking in Nepal. The group's debut album, Livres Para Adorar (2005), marked the beginning of a series of impactful releases, including A Mensagem (2006), Pra Que Outros Possam Viver (2009), and Mais um Dia (2011). In 2011, Juliano Son released Mais um Dia, an album influenced by the tragic loss of a friend, addressing themes of hope and the value of life . The album featured songs like "O Ladrão em Mim" and "Quando o Mundo Cai ao Meu Redor." In 2015, the band released Só em Jesus, featuring collaborations with Daniela Araújo and Ana Rock . After the dissolution of Livres Para Adorar in 2019, Juliano Son embarked on a solo career, signing with Sony Music Brasil. He released singles such as "Tudo Novo" (2019), "Verei" (2020), and "Ele É" (2020). In 2023, he released the live album Noite de Adoração II, featuring collaborations with Gabriela Rocha, Isaias Saad, and Sarah Oliveira. Juliano Son is also the founder of the Instituto Livres, a nonprofit organization established in 2006 to combat social injustices in Brazil's Northeast Sertão region.
