Sly, Slick & Wicked is an American rhythm and blues band from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in 1970 by John Wilson, Charles Still, and Mark Saxton, the group gained traction with their top 10 rhythm-and-blues hit "Stay My Love" in 1971. The band signed with People Records, a sublabel of Polydor run by James Brown, and recorded "Sho' Nuff" in 1973, which led to appearances on Soul Train and collaborations with The O'Jays. Their debut album, Sly, Slick & Wicked, was released by Ju-Par in 1977. The band was notably awarded the Men of Motown Award from the Motown Museum in 2003 and inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2013. Their music has also been sampled by artists such as Justin Timberlake and J.Cole. Charles Still passed away on October 2, 2025.
