Dami Andres, the guitarist, composer, and arranger, resides in Rio de Janeiro. With his diverse and original repertoire, he delves into the history of Brazilian and South American Popular Music, encompassing genres such as Bossa Nova, Samba, Jazz, Choro, Tango, and other South and Central American rhythms. In 2017, Dami won the Composition Contest at the MEC Radio Festival in Rio de Janeiro with his solo guitar piece, "Saudade do Sul." Throughout his career,he has performed and recorded with various national and international artists. As a soloist, he has performed in several countries in Europe and Latin America, including Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, Chile, France,Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal,Germany,Austria, Denmark, Sweden,Finland and Spain. In 2022, Dami performed in Asia alongside saxophonist Edgar Duvivier, delivering several shows in Baku, Azerbaijan. Dami recorded a single in Buenos Aires with bandoneonist, composer, and arranger Daniel Ruggiero, presenting a rendition of the Tango Bossa Nova Jazz classic "Insensatez" by Tom Jobim. Additionally. Dami will be releasing a physical album of his original compositions in collaboration with singer Marcia Bittencourt, who resides in Bremen, Germany.The album will be launched in Germany alongside a duo tour. Dami also has a tour scheduled in Europe for 2023 and 2024, where he will perform in cities such as Amsterdam, Bremen, Paris, Bordeaux, Brussels, Brittany, Berlin, among others.
