HYOYEON is a member of Korea’s top girl band, Girls' Generation, which released numerous hit songs - Gee, Oh! and I GOT A BOY - and won various global music awards including "Music Video of the Year" from 2013 YouTube Music Awards which was highlighted as the first Asian group to be awarded. Furthermore, the group gained global popularity by appearing in various entertainment programs such as the CBS late-night talk show Late Show with David Letterman, ABC Morning Talk Show Live! with Kelly, and the French TV talk show Le Grand Journal for the first time as Korean singers.
HYOYEON, having released Mystery (Dec 2016) and Wannabe (June 2017), proved her ability as a solo singer with her unique vocals and brilliant choreography and currently actively participates as a singer/entertainer in various TV programs.
Recently, HYOYEON is working actively as a DJ, her stage name being DJ HYO.
