Nico & Vinz

Pop and hip-hop duo Nicolay Sereba and Vincent Dery are Norwegian artists of African heritage who performed first with the name Envy for their initials.They released an album titled 'The Magic Soup and the Bittersweet Faces' which earned domestic success and then changed their name to Nico & Vinz and garnered international attention with their 2013 track 'Am I Wrong', which was nominated for a Billboard Music Award as the Top Radio Song and a Soul Train Award as Best International Performance. It topped Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 and the Adult Contemporary Chart and reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100. 'In Your Arms' (2014) went to number 21 on the mainstream chart and 29 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Both tracks feature on their 2014 album 'Black Star Elephant' which peaked at number 45 on the Billboard 200; they also were nominated as Best New Artist in the Soul Train Awards.

Their single 'That's How You Know', featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha from their EP 'Cornerstone', reached number 35 on Billboard's Mainstream Chart in 2015. They were also featured on Alesso's 'I Wanna Know' (2016), which went to number 13 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart and with Ladysmith Black Mambazo on David Guetta's 'Lift Me Up' in 2014 which peaked at number 41. An EP titled 'Elephant in the Room' came out in 2017 with the single 'Intrigued'.
