Sean Archibald (born June 7, 1988), known professionally as Sevish, was a British experimental and electronic music composer and producer from London. A creative force in the microtonal scene, Archibald was known for combining electronic dance music with alternative tuning systems. Inspired by video game soundtracks and the music of Aphex Twin, he began releasing music online at age 16 and released the recording Sevish EP in 2005. Archibald released the solo albums Crowded Images (2008) and Golden Hour (2010), with the latter receiving recognition in the microtonal community. In 2011, he collaborated with Tony Dubshot and Jacky Ligon on the album Subversio, which blended dub with microtonal tunings. His discography included Rhythm and Xen (2015), Harmony Hacker (2017), and Murmurations (2023). Archibald utilized the AXiS-49 hexagonal MIDI controller and founded the record label split-notes in 2010. He also hosted the podcast Now&Xen and announced the release of One With the Fractal for 2025.
