Kim Hyo-jung, aka Hyolyn, is a singer and songwriter from South Korea who rose to fame as a member of the girl band Sistar, which she was a member of from 2010 until the group disbanded in 2017. Hyolyn and fellow Sistar member, Boro, formed the sub-group Sistar19 in 2011. Both the main group and its offshoot proved very successful in the South Korean charts.
In 2012, Hyolyn branched out into acting in both TV series and movies. She released her first solo album, 'Love & Hate' in 2013. She went on to form her own label, 'Brid3' in 2016 with the release of the digital single, 'To Do List'.
