Born Charlotte Sarah Lawrence on 8 June 2000 in Los Angeles, US singer-songwriter and model Charlotte Lawrence has a handle on brooding modern pop that shimmers with sophistication. The daughter of famous actor Christa Miller and Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence, and the grand-niece of actor Susan Saint James, she is no stranger to Hollywood and began demonstrating an affinity for singing at an early age. After introducing her voice via a cover of Snow Patrol's "The Finish Line" in 2014 and 2018's subsequent EP Young, she grew her profile that year after appearing on Yungblud's "Falling Skies," which was featured on the soundtrack to season two of US teen drama 13 Reasons Why. She went on to put out a string of singles, including 2020's "Joke's on You," which was featured on the soundtrack album for Birds of Prey. In 2021, she issued her second EP, Charlotte, followed in 2022 by the singles "Morning" and an appearance on "You and I" by SYML.
