The Reklaws are a Juno-nominated brother and sister duo comprising members Stuart and Jenna Walker, who formed in 2012 in Ontario, Canada. Older sibling Jenna Walker had been singing from a very young age while her brother took to music when he began learning the guitar at the age of nine. Their authentic country sound comes from their early years working on the family farm, which they have both stated gave them early grounding. Since signing with Universal Music in 2017, their career went from strength to strength, with second single "Long Live the Night" becoming the most streamed song of Canadian country artists in 2018 and achieving gold certification. The follow-up "Feels Like That" reached number one on the Canadian Country Radio Charts, and the EP of the same title was nominated at the Juno Awards for Country Album of the Year. They won two awards at the Canadian Country Music Awards: the Rising Star Award and Album of the Year for "Feels Like That," in 2018 and 2019, respectively. In 2019 they released their debut full-length Freshman Year to a wave of critical acclaim and went on to amass an ever-growing following throughout North America, with their fanbase affectionately known as The Recking Crew. The pair unveiled their full-length sophomore effort, the aptly titled Sophomore Slump, in 2020 and received another Juno nomination for Country Album of the Year. They repeated this victory on 2022's third album, Good Ol' Days, once again receiving the nod for Country Album of the Year at the 2023 Juno Awards as well as being in the running for Album of the Year at the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards. In 2022, they were named Top Selling Canadian Single of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Association for the "What the Truck" single with Sacha. A live album, The Reklaws: Live at History, landed in 2023 alongside a collaborative single with fellow country star Drake Milligan, titled "Honky Tonkin' About."
