Hey, I'm Scott. 10 years ago, at 18 years old, I wrote and recorded a record called Augusta. Since
then, I've toured the world - headline shows, award shows, in radio stations, at festivals and
opening for my favourite artists. I've had songs go platinum and I've had videos get millions of
views. It would be easy for me to write out the story of my career as a straight line from my
bedroom in Toronto to the peak of success, but that's not really how it works; and from this
vantage point, I'm grateful for that. This journey so far has been about so much more than
accolades and numbers. When I first toured Augusta, I was shocked to find a community of
people that seemed to uniquely understand what I was trying to say and the affirmation I felt
from that is something I've spent the last 10 years trying my best to give back. So much has
changed since 2018 - I'm engaged, I live in LA, I've made mistakes, and I've learned lessons, but
the core of that connection is what continues to drive me to make music and art. While writing
and recording my next batch of songs, I've decided to re-record Augusta from this new
perspective. I want to remind anyone who's been here from the start that this is all for them.
