Lip Critic

Lip Critic was an electropunk band formed in 2018 in Brooklyn, New York, by Danny Eberle, Bret Kraser, Connor Kleitz, and Ilan Natter. The group, named for its “Dada‑esque nonsense” vibe, debuted with the EP Kill Lip Critic in 2019 and followed with Lip Critic II in 2020. Signing to Partisan Records, they released their debut studio album Hex Dealer on 17 May 2024 to critical acclaim and the single "The Heart" on 16 January 2024. In 2026, after the departing of drummer Ilan Natter, replaced by Mikey Marinara, they issued their sophomore album Theft World, inspired by a fan‑identity mix‑up; the band promoted it with shows in unconventional venues such as a laundromat, basement, and boxing ring.
