George White Group is a revolving collective of jazz musicians who join forces to bring sensual jazz versions of popular music to the lounge scene. Contemporaries of groups like Stella Starlight Trio, Jamie Lancaster, and The Cooltrane Quartet, these gentlemen cut their teeth bringing 80s songs to the piano, bass and drums arrangement they most frequently use. Though you should feel free to ask them about the time they brought a trumpet into their tiny studio to record their version of Gypsy Woman (She Is Homeless) . It really was mind-blowing, to say the least!!
