Andy Abraham, born Andrew Abraham on 17 July 1964 in the United Kingdom, initially worked as a refuse collector and bus driver before gaining prominence through his participation in The X Factor. Abraham was a runner-up in the second UK series of The X Factor in 2005, mentored by Sharon Osbourne. His debut album, The Impossible Dream, entered the UK Album Chart at number two in March 2006. The album, released under Sony BMG, sold 176,000 copies in its first week and was the twelfth highest-selling album of that year with total sales around 300,000. In 2008, Abraham won Eurovision – Your Decision 2008 to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with "Even If". He also released two more albums: Soul Man in November 2006 and Even If, in June 2008. Andy Abraham's third studio album, released digitally in March 2009, received positive reviews but its distribution was affected by the economic downturn. His fourth album, Remember When, was a collection of songs that influenced him over the years and included two new tracks.
