His follow-up albums, including 2020's Wabi Sabi and 2021's Natura Morta, expanded his sound to incorporate Eastern and Southern Asian influences with cinematic grooves and larger instrumentation, earning high praise from critics and rapid sales. In 2023, his album Late Again continued his success, blending jazz, soul, and easy listening, and receiving a Swedish Grammy nomination. Additionally, he worked on Detroit rapper Danny Brown's album Quaranta, contributing the track "Hanami" based on Wabi Sabi's track of the same name.
