Largely a family affair, American country music trio Chapel Hart was formed in 2014 in Poplarville, Mississippi, by sisters Danica and Devynn Hart, and their cousin Trea Swindle. The group started busking in the streets of New Orleans and started releasing music in 2016 under the moniker Hyperphlyy. After renaming themselves Chapel Hart (taken from a church in their hometown), they were discovered by producer Jeff Glixman in 2020 and made their official debut with the single "Jesus & Alcohol," which featured an appearance by ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. This was followed by the singles "I Will Follow" and "You Can Have Him Jolene," both included in their 2021 studio debut The Girls Are Back in Town. In 2022, after Chapel Hart reached the final round of the competition America's Got Talent with a performance of their song "You Can Have Him Jolene," the single peaked at Number 4 on the US Country Digital Chart.
