Biography
The R&B artist known as R.LUM.R started out his professional life using his real name of Reggie Williams and had aspirations of becoming a successful classical guitar player in the mould of artists such as John Williams and Julian Bream, both of whom he cites as influences.
He was born in Bradenton, Florida and in his teen years struggled to fit in to school life. He eventually overcame his introvert nature and began a career as a classical guitar player before reinventing himself as an alternative R&B artist under the name R.LUM.R. In 2016 he released 'Frustrated', which became his first hit single. He followed it up with 'Close Enough' and the EP 'Afterimage'.
In 2019 Williams released his his critically-acclaimed debut album titled 'Surfacing'.
