Michelle Gayle

Michelle Patricia Gayle, born on February 2, 1971, in Harlesden, northwest London, is a British singer and actress. She attended the Barbara Speake Stage School, where she began her acting career with roles in television shows such as Grange Hill (1988-1989) and EastEnders (1990-1993). Gayle's music career started while still on EastEnders, signing with RCA Records in 1993. Her debut single "Looking Up" reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart, followed by her biggest hit, "Sweetness", which peaked at number 4 and was certified silver. Other notable singles include "I'll Find You", "Freedom", and "Happy Just to Be with You". Gayle released two top 40 albums through RCA Records: Michelle Gayle (1994) and Sensational (1997). After parting ways with RCA in 1997, she continued her music career but did not release any further albums.
