Sunblock

Sunblock was a Swedish electronic dance music group formed in 2005. The band featured dancers Oksana Andersson, Pernilla Lundberg, and Rebecka Simonsson, while Magnus Nordin and Martin Pihl produced the music. Sunblock's breakthrough came with their first single, a remix of "I’ll Be Ready", the Baywatch theme song, which reached Number 4 on the UK Top 40 in January 2006. This success was followed by the release of their debut EP, I'll Be Ready, and their first mini-CD, First Time. Their second single, a remix of Robin Beck's "First Time", featuring Beck herself on vocals, peaked at Number 9 in May 2006. The group released their debut album, I’ll Be Ready: The Album, in June 2006. Sunblock's final release was the single "Baby Baby" in June 2007, a cover of Corona's hit featuring Sandy, the original vocalist from Corona. Sunblock's music was known for its upbeat rhythms and catchy melodies, which resonated well with dance music enthusiasts. The group made a significant impact on the European dance music scene despite their short career.
