MAPA is a Japanese idol group formed in September 2021 by former Bis and Maison Book Girl member Megumi Coshoji. The group debuted with a four‑member line‑up at TIF on October 2, 2021, and released its first studio album, Shitennō, on November 9, 2021. Their breakthrough came with the single "Qilin♡Time / Satie" on May 24, 2022, followed by "Calling box / Imōto" on November 9, 2022, marking the group’s first anniversary. In February 2023, MAPA released "Kaiju Giga / Ladies Comic" and later that year issued "Summer Shooter / Lovepi" on July 21, 2023. The group expanded with the addition of Kurumi Tōka and Misaki Midoriyama on January 13, 2024, and subsequently released the second album, Siix Sence, on August 20, 2024. A notable international appearance occurred on June 6, 2025, when MAPA performed alongside Piggs and ZOCX at WACK in the UK Vol. 6 at The Underworld in London. The group continued its output with the sixth single "Ame no Shiro / Keshi♡Gomu♡Magic" released on June 18, 2025, and the album Castle in the Heavy Rain / KESHI.GOMU.MAGIC, which was also released in 2025.
