With his upcoming single A Different Kind Of Year, Marks is joining together diverse audiences from tours with Five Finger Death Punch, ZZ Top and Brantley Gilbert. Over the last two years, his breakthrough country-rock fusion has paved the way for the success of Morgen Wallen, Zach Bryan, Hardy, Bailey Zimmerman and Noah Kahan, among others.
“I’ve never been about division,” he says. “I’ve always wanted to be part of something, but I pave my own lane, do what I want to do, try to bring people together.
“This is a song written during the pandemic where I think we all realized we shouldn’t take these good times, family and friends for granted and this song is about bringing everybody together and feeling good again because during those times we were all ready for a different kind of year, so cheers!
