Honningbarna

Honningbarna, a Norwegian punk rock band from Kristiansand, debuted in 2010 with the EP Honningbarna. The group gained early recognition by winning Årets Urørt, a competition organized by NRK P3, with their song "Borgerskapets utakknemlige sønner" in January 2011. Their debut album, La alarmane gå, released on March 25 of the same year, won the Spellemannprisen for Rock Music and was nominated for Newcomer. In 2011, they performed at Øyafestivalen and on NRK TV. Tragically, drummer Anders Eikås died in a car accident on January 31, 2012. Despite this loss, Honningbarna continued to release albums including Verden er enkel (2013), Opp De Nye Blanke (2015), Goldenboy (2016), and Voldelig lyd (2017). Their sixth album, Animorphs, was released in 2022, followed by Soft Spot in 2025.
