99 Souls are a UK house duo comprised of producers Soul and Jo who gained international recognition in 2014 with their breakthrough single "The Girl Is Mine," a mash up of two iconic songs: Destiny's Child's "Girl" and Brandy & Monica's "The Boy Is Mine," showcasing their knack for blending genres and reworking classic R&B hits into dancefloor anthems. The track was re-released the following year with Beyonce's consent, along with a re-recorded vocal from Brandy, and peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart as well as reaching number 33 in Australia. In 2016, they turned on the remix duties for "Tears" by Clean Bandit, which featured vocals from Louisa Johnson, and checked in again four years later with a remix of "Live Forever" by Liam Payne and Cheat Codes.
