Caspar Babypants

Christopher Ballew, born May 28, 1965, in Seattle, Washington, is an American musician known for his versatile career. Inspired by the Beatles, Ballew began performing as a street musician in Boston with Phil Franklin in a duo called Egg. In the early 1990s, he moved to Los Angeles and played with Beck before returning to Washington to form The Presidents of the United States of America in 1993. The band released multiple albums and singles, including "Naked and Famous" and "Lump", before disbanding in 2015. In 2009, under the pseudonym Caspar Babypants, he launched a children's music project that released numerous albums until his retirement from the persona in 2021. Notable releases include Here I Am (2009), More Please! (2009), and Night Night! (2015).
