Home Counties

Home Counties are a Bristol-formed, London-based British rock band known for their edgy blend of alternative rock, danceable post-punk and retro, new wave-inspired keyboards. Initially active as Halloweens, they adopted the name Home Counties in 2020 and soon released their debut EP Redevelopment, a collection of hard-hitting tracks blending angular guitars, lo-fi synths and social commentary on everyday British urban life. The band follow this up with a number of acclaimed singles, including "White Shirt / Clean Shirt", "Village Spirit", "Bethnal Green", "Uptight" and "Wild Guest", which hone their style between typically English irony. Home Counties release two more EPs, Dad Bod Reworkings (2020) and In a Middle English Town (2022), before unveiling their debut album, Exactly as It Seems, in May 2024. New singles such as "Spain", "New Best Thing" and "Roundabout" follow, before the release of the second album Humdrum in October 2025.
