MorMor

Seth Nyquist, known professionally as MorMor, was born in Toronto, Canada, in 1992. He is an indie pop musician who began his musical journey at a young age, influenced by artists such as the Beatles and Pink Floyd. After studying sociology at Ryerson University for one semester, Nyquist dropped out to pursue music full-time, taking piano and vocal training instead. In 2015, MorMor released his debut EP Live for Nothing. In 2018, he released the EP Heaven's Only Wishful through his own label, Don't Guess. The following year, he received a SOCAN Songwriting Prize nomination for the song "Whatever Comes to Mind". Notable singles include "Heaven's Only Wishful" (2018), "Won't Let You" (2019) and "Seasons Change" (2022). MorMor's discography also includes the EP Some Place Else (2019) and the album Semblance (2022).
