KO KO MO

Ko Ko Mo is a French alternative band combining blues, hard rock and psychedelic-influenced stoner rock. Comprising singer/guitarist Warren Mutton and drummer Kevin Grosmolard aka K20, they were born in Nantes in 2012, and two years later released their first self-produced EP, Stone My Soul, before a stint at the Transmusicales de Rennes in 2015. The duo's first album, which takes its name from blues musician Kokomo Arnold, Technicolor Life followed in 2017 on the LMP Musique label, leading to a national and then international tour from Asia to Oceania. The band became known for their unexpected covers of "Personal Jesus" (Depeche Mode) and "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" (Indeep), between the releases of the albums Lemon Twins (2019) and Need Some Mo' (2022). After a tour interrupted by a fire on their tour bus in 2023, the musicians returned to the studio for their fourth album, Striped (2024).
