Under the sign of desire!
Reborn in the summer of 2023, the Melodic Metal band from southern Austria has returned with a new style and a renewed energy. Original members Marcus Kürzl (Drums) and René Stöcklmair (Guitar) are joined by the powerful and haunting alto voice of their new front-woman, Eva Weixler. The lineup is further strengthened by the addition of Walter Mlekuz (Bass) and Wolfgang Derler (Guitar), the latter also known from The Goatjuring. For the first time, ADIANT features a keyboardist, Emil Berger, who also performs the growling vocals.
Their first single from the re-formed band, "The Cleansing," is now available, offering a glimpse into their upcoming concept album, "Witches Dance," which delves into the dark history of witch trials and the inquisition.
By the way, the name "Adiant" has its roots in ancient Celtic language, inspired by the sacrificial and excavation sites in Western Styria, meaning "wish" or "desire."
