The Scratch

The Scratch, an Irish trad/metal band, was formed in 2016 in Perrystown, Dublin. The group originated from three members of Red Enemy, a heavy metal act. Their debut album Couldn't Give a Rats was released in March 2020. In November 2023, they released their second studio album Mind Yourself, which was nominated for the Choice Music Prize. In December 2024, Jordan O'Leary announced his departure from The Scratch and was replaced by Gary Regan. The Scratch's discography includes several albums such as The Whole Buzz (March 2019), the live recording Couldn't Leave Our Gafs (March 2022) and Pull Like a Dog (March 2026). The latter's title track reached number 18 on the Irish Homegrown Singles chart
