Jeronimo Folgueira was appointed CEO of Deezer from 1 July, 2021.
Prior to joining Deezer, Jeronimo served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Board of Spark Networks (NYSE: LOV) in Berlin. During that time he led the transformation of Spark Networks through three strategic M&A transactions, quadrupling the size of the company in four years. He also oversaw the company’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange in November 2017. This made him the youngest European CEO on the NYSE at the time....
Jeronimo has also held a number of senior management positions, including at Betfair, Bigpoint and RTL Group. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Navarra.
He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Tio Tech, a Nasdaq listed SPAC that aims to help European unicorns access US capital markets.

Stéphane’s focus is to drive the maximisation of the company resources and their optimal allocation in order to execute the company’s growth strategy and create shareholder value. He is also responsible for making sure that Deezer’s operations and processes are efficient and agile, with a particular focus on its financial function....
Stéphane has over 20 years of experience leading and transforming businesses and organisations, including tech and media companies, driving their international expansion and accelerating their business development.
His recent roles include serving as the CFO and member of the Board of Management of Signify, the world leader in lighting products and technologies, based in Amsterdam. He spent 7 years at Technicolor, a leader in digital entertainment technologies, first as CFO, based in Paris, and then as Deputy CEO in charge of the technology and licensing business, based in Los Angeles. Prior to that, Stéphane held several senior leadership positions at Orange Group. Stéphane is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the Paris Dauphine University.
Gitte Bendzulla

Gitte oversees operations and ensures the highest level of operational efficiency and excellence for Deezer. She works together with the CEO and CFO to implement the company's growth plans....
Gitte is a lawyer by education but holds business roles throughout her career which exposed her to industries as far-reaching as Container Terminal Services and Online Dating. She brings almost 20 years of experience in COO and senior roles. At Spark Networks, she served as Managing Director and COO, and prior to his appointment at Deezer in 2021. Before that, Gitte held several senior positions on a European and global scale with companies such as Juniper Networks and APM Terminals in The Netherlands, Eaton Industries in Switzerland, and SITA Suez Group in Germany. 20 years of experience establishing best practices for operations, compliance, and commercial matters. She demonstrated leadership skills in bringing substantial upside to established and emerging businesses.
Émilie Duquenne
Chief People Officer
Émilie defines and sets a global people strategy to support the company’s growing needs. She oversees talent acquisition, talent development, employee engagement, HR Operations and Internal Communications....
She also looks after the wellbeing of over 600 employees worldwide. Prior to Deezer, Émilie worked at Tesla as the EMEA HR lead for Sales, looking after the HR business strategy. She got her start at Tesla as the Senior HR Manager in France and was quickly promoted to EMEA HR Lead. During her time at Tesla, she successfully oversaw the redesign of the marketing and sales structure of over 1000 people in 17 countries. This resulted in a dramatic increase in sales.
Émilie also worked as a Talent Acquisition Director at L’Oréal for 15 years, where she boosted recruitment in France and the UK by creating a talent incubator model and featured employees as brand ambassadors. She also spearheaded a new performance appraisal programme for the company.
Émilie is a graduate from ESSEC School of Management.
Matthieu Gorvan
Chief Product & Technology Officer
Matthieu develops and implements new technologies and solutions to create the most personalised music experience for Deezer users around the world. He also manages all of Deezer’s development teams, including product design....
Matthieu is a Deezer veteran, having first joined Deezer as the Lead Mobile Engineer in 2009. He was promoted to Head of Mobile Department, and later as VP Engineering before being named Chief Product & Technology Officer in 2017.
Prior to Deezer, Matthieu was an engineer in the Mobile Video Game industry. He holds a degree in Computer Science from The Brest National School of Engineering.
Aurélien Hérault
Chief Innovation Officer
Aurélien leads the R&D team and makes sure Deezer is ahead of the curve with innovative products and features. Using research, analysis and data insights, Aurélien has been instrumental in developing and refining Deezer’s signature Flow algorithm. He is also responsible for looking after search and recommendations, as well as audiobooks....
Aurélien joined Deezer as the Lead Software Engineer when the company first officially launched in 2007 and has since held several positions within the company, including VP Product, VP Engineering, VP Research and Development and VP Technology and Innovation.
Aurélien previously taught coding languages and technical architecture at Gobelins School of Visual Communication in Paris and has a University Diploma in Multimedia & Networks, Computer and Information Sciences from Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas University.
Alexander Holland
Chief Content and Strategy Officer
Alexander manages all content that is available on Deezer. He works directly with labels, artists, rights holders and music industry leaders to ensure that users around the world have the best audio entertainment at their disposal....
Before joining Deezer in 2015, Alexander was the Chief Operating Officer at Antenna Group, the largest media group in Greece, where he oversaw 150m Euro P&L and 1500 employees. During his time at Antenna Group, he also served as Acting Managing Director of Antenna TV, as well as CEO & President of Daphne publishing.
Prior to Antenna Group, Alexander was the Chief of Staff at Viasat Broadcasting. He also has experience as the Head of Content, Acquisition, Brand and Promotion at Viasat Broadcasting Ltd, where he was responsible for content, branding and on-air promotion across all channels within the Viasat Group. He was also a member of the Management Board of Modern Times Group, and the Managing Director of CineNova Movie Channel, as well as CEO of Pay TV Channels at Modern Times Group.
Alexander earned his Master’s Degree in Economics from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
Mark Ody
Interim Chief Marketing Officer
Mark defines and sets the Global Marketing and Communications strategy for Deezer. He oversees Performance Marketing, Design and Localisation, PR, Social Media, events and Advertising and the team of over 70 people who make it all happen....
He began his career at Diageo and worked on some of the worlds’ strongest alcohol brands including Malibu, Smirnoff, Bombay Sapphire, Johnnie Walker to name but a few. His last role in Diageo was as Marketing Director for Guinness in Ireland. In this role, he led a team that engaged an entire organisation behind a vision to “Grow Guinness” - and succeeded in this vision arresting over 20 years of decline.
More recently Mark worked on the Executive Committee as Global Brand Director for Betfair PLC - an executive team that quadrupled the company share price over a 3 year period; And immediately prior to joining Deezer, he was the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer for Mediahuis Ireland where he launched their on-line subscription service.
Mark graduated from The Oxford School of Business.
Guillaume is Executive Vice Chairman of Access Industries and serves notably as Chairman of Deezer, STT Properties and Ice Group ASA. He is also a Director for DAZN....
Before joining Access Industries in 2011, Guillaume has previously worked in Investment Banking for more than 25 years. Guillaume was Vice Chairman of Nomura International and served as Chairman and CEO of Banque Lehman Brothers France. He was also a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers Inc in charge of French investment banking before becoming Vice Chairman of Lehman Brothers International. During his career in banking, Guillaume has advised on many transactions in corporate finance, M&A and capital issuances. He has worked in New York, London and Paris.
Guillaume has also been the Treasurer and General Secretary of the Fondation Hôpital Foch, member of HEC Advisory Board and Board Member of AROP (Paris Opéra).
Guillaume graduated from HEC and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining Deezer, Hans-Holger worked at Millicom where he was President and CEO of the international telecom and media group. Before joining Millicom, Hans-Holger was the President and CEO of Modern Times Group, one of Europe’s largest media groups with TV, radio, publishing, production and new media assets and 1,500 employees in over 20 countries. He has also worked for the RTL Group in Luxembourg....
