Biografía
Victor & Leo are a Brazilian duo specialising in the traditional sertanejo music style, a traditional musical style which has its origins in 1920s rural Brazil. The duo is made up of two brothers, guitarist Vitor Pimentel and his brother Leonardo who is the lead singer. In common with many Brazilian artists, their career was launched on the back of a live album, in this case 'Victor and Leo Avo Vivo' which came out in 2006 and spawned three hit singles 'Fada', 'Vida Boa' and 'Amigo Apaixonado'.
The album went on to sell over 200,000 copies and was accredited double platinum. After the success of the live set the brothers' career took off and has included two diamond selling albums and a Latin Grammy Award for the album 'Ao Vivo em Floripa' which they released in 2013.
Their most successful album to date is their third studio album 'Borboletas' (2008) which sold more than half a million copies and contained three chart-topping singles.
